We charge a tiered success fee of 3 to 5 percent. This is clearly defined in a one-page engagement letter. There are no retainers, no monthly fees, no listing fees, and no hidden line items. We do not charge buyers to search or acquire, either. If we do not close your deal, you do not pay us anything.
No, it is genuinely free. We have no subscriptions and no success fees. There is no cost for discovering, acquiring, or investing in companies through Done Deal. The only exception is if you acquihire a company, in which case there is a fee equal to one month of CTC for the leadership team you are bringing on.
It covers everything. This includes discovering companies, expressing interest, running diligence, and closing the deal. There are no subscriptions, success fees, or per-deal charges. The acquihire fee is the only cost that applies to a buyer.
